Mother's Day Tea!

Ever since I was a little girl, we've been attending the Mother's Day Tea with my Granny that her sorority puts on. Usually my sisters and all my nieces attend but this year Clainey and I were the only ones that were able to make it. We ate yummy food and afterwards went to my Granny's and sat around her dining room table chit-chatting. Those are my favorite times to have with my Granny. I love her to death!

Easter weekend!

Our church does Easter services on Saturday and Sunday and usually before the Saturday services they have all kinds of fun things for the kids to do so we decided to have Ty's parents over for lunch on that day and then after, we headed over to the church for some fun.

Ty's parents brought over all kinds of goodies, one being, these really cool plastic bubbles...

Grandma thought it would be better to blow the bubbles inside the house :)....

Since they were plastic bubbles, they stuck to everything...

After we ate lunch and played with the bubbles, we headed over to church for some more fun...

Western Day at Church!

A couple months ago our church had a Western Day theme and with that came food, pony rides, face painting, a gun-slinger show (I think that's what they called it), and all kinds of fun stuff...I think, anyways! The reason I say that is because the only thing Maclaine cared to do was ride the pony and after waiting to do that she was ready to go home.

She was the first in line, and we stood there in the heat for about an hour waiting for the horses to arrive...

She got to ride the biggest pony...

and was in heaven...

Slumber Party!

My niece Ellie and nephew Donovan spent the night awhile back and since I've been a slacker on keeping up with my blog, I hadn't post any of the pictures from that night.

So, here they are...

Inventive!!!

Maclaine had been in the back yard for quite some time one day so I went out there to check on her and this is what I found!

Skating during Spring Break!

We didn't have a lot planned during Spring Break....which was wonderful! But, there was one thing that we had on the agenda and that was to go to Skateland! Maclaine LOVES to skate! We invited my sister and her kiddos to join us...it was so much fun watching them all try to figure it out.

Aubrey was hilarious to watch! It took her a little while but she got it down...

Maclaine and her bestie, Delani, have known each other since they were babies and have pretty much grown up together because Delani lives across the street from us. They have so much fun together in our back yard. One particular day, they came screaming into the house saying, "we caught a lizard, we caught a lizard!" Apparently, that's always been Delani's dream to catch a lizard and this ended up being her special day! I'm pretty sure Maclaine had no part in it, other than the chasing part, by the looks of the pictures. She looks totally grossed out and Delani looks cool as a cucumber grabbing that slimy thing.
