Celebrating Birthday's in Tucson

June is a busy birthday month for us.  My dads birthday is in June as well as Ty's mom and step-dad.  So last June (2011) we decided to celebrate them all together.  We took the parents to Kartchner Caverns, had dinner, enjoyed my dad and Lin's beautiful backyard and just had a really nice time with everyone.

Little Savers!

Maclaine and her BFF Delani saved their very own money to buy an ipad 2. Maclaine started saving at the end of 2010 and decided that all she wanted for Christmas and her birthday was money. She also saved her chore money and her grade money that Grandma and Grandpa give her.

We are so proud of her for being so diligent with her saving!

I have to admit...we are SO glad she saved her money for one because we have a lot of fun on that thing when she goes to bed! They're AMAZING!

Mother's Day Tea!

Ever since I was a little girl, we've been attending the Mother's Day Tea with my Granny that her sorority puts on. Usually my sisters and all my nieces attend but this year Clainey and I were the only ones that were able to make it. We ate yummy food and afterwards went to my Granny's and sat around her dining room table chit-chatting. Those are my favorite times to have with my Granny. I love her to death!

Easter weekend!

Our church does Easter services on Saturday and Sunday and usually before the Saturday services they have all kinds of fun things for the kids to do so we decided to have Ty's parents over for lunch on that day and then after, we headed over to the church for some fun.

Western Day at Church!

A couple months ago our church had a Western Day theme and with that came food, pony rides, face painting, a gun-slinger show (I think that's what they called it), and all kinds of fun stuff...I think, anyways! The reason I say that is because the only thing Maclaine cared to do was ride the pony and after waiting to do that she was ready to go home.

She was the first in line, and we stood there in the heat for about an hour waiting for the horses to arrive...

She got to ride the biggest pony...

and was in heaven...
